Blenheim

The township of Blenheim is set in the Wairau Valley, the heart of the Marlborough wine region. With a population of approximately 26,000 Blenheim is the main township for the Marlborough region.

Blenheim is also well situated with a drive time of approximately 30 minutes to Picton or Havelock and 1.5 hours to Kaikoura or Nelson. Surounded by vineyards and wineries Blenheim offers a huge range of wine and food experiences. All of our wine tours and Marlborough Sounds cruises can include collection from all Blenheim accommodation providers and the surrounding wine region.

Picton

The settlement of Picton is situated at the base of the Queen Charlotte Sound, in the Marlborough Sounds. As the main gateway to Marlborough from the North Island via ferries it is a popular spot for visitors. With a range of cafés and restaurants spread around the waterfront it is also a great place to base yourself for a Marlborough and Marlborough Sounds experience.

From Picton you can cruise the Queen Charlotte Sound, enjoy a guided sea-kayak trip, or catch a water taxi to the famous Queen Charlotte Track.  Alternatively join on our daily Marlborough wine tours, scenic tours or our Icons tour to enjoy the best of Marlborough.

Havelock

As the gateway to the Pelorus Sound and the Kenepuru Sound, Havelock is a thriving little seaport township with the official title of "Greenshell Mussel Capital of the World".  There are now more Greenshell Mussels processed through this port than anywhere else in the world. Havelock's main street is simply fantastic for lovers of arts, crafts, culture and cafes. It’s a small town with a big heart and you will find all sorts of friendly and creative people here.

A visit to Havelock wouldn't be complete without a trip out to see the mussel farms and taste really fresh steamed mussels. The Greenshell Mussel Cruise departs daily over the summer season (October-April) at 1.30pm for a 3 hour afternoon cruise.

Marlborough Sounds

Staying out in the Marlborough Sounds is a fantastic experience, the natural beauty and tranquillity of the area is simply stunning. The Marlborough Sounds is made up of four individual Sounds, the Queen Charlotte Sound, the Pelorus Sound, the Kenepuru Sound and the Mahau Sound.  All areas are very different and exploring these areas is lots of fun.

Check out our Greenshell Mussel Cruise and Seafood Odyssea Cruise which both cruise the Marlborough Sounds, and our Marlborough Icons Tour also includes a Marlborough Sounds cruise as well as a Marlborough wine tour.
