For water lovers we can offer wine and food cruises, lunch and dinner cruises, Greenshell Mussel cruises, and fishing trips. The Marlborough Sounds also offers some world class Sea Kayaking and bush walks.
We can create a stunning itinerary specially put together for your group. This itinerary can include all travel and transfers, accommodation, meals, and all activities. We are more than happy to assist you with one portion of the itinerary or plan and facilitate the full event.
Our team of experienced guides have hosted special interest groups of all sizes, incentive groups, conference groups, touring groups and cruise ship visitors. Whether its a group of 8 or 80 we will create something really special and take care of every last detail, leaving you free to enjoy the event.
The following are a few examples of packages that we can offer for a one day Marlborough Experience. These are all suggested itineraries and we are always happy to personalise them to suit your group.
9.00am Coach collection at your accommodation. (Alternatively we can re-work the itinerary and collect the group from the Blenheim airport, Blenheim railway station or the Picton ferry terminal)
9.30am Arrive in Havelock, the "Greenshell Mussel Capital of the World". There are more Greenshell Mussels brought in through this port than anywhere else!! Havelock is also the gateway to the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds, two of the main Sounds that make up the Marlborough Sounds.
Board the Marlborough Travel launch and cruise out into the Pelorus Sound. A nice morning tea will be served as we cruise.
- Take in the natural beauty and tranquillity of this fantastic area and learn a bit of the history of the area and the people who have settled here.
- There is the option to take a nice bush walk through native beech forest or enjoy a bit of time out on a beach in the Sounds
- Cruise through a Greenshell™ Mussel farm where your launch captain will explain why these delicacys grow so well here. While at the Mussel farm the group will get to taste a local favourite - platters of freshly steamed Mussels served with a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. A fantastic wine and food experience in a beautiful part of Marlborough.
Enjoy a divine lunch on board. Our catering team will create something special for your group, this may be a platter style lunch or gourmet BBQ. One thing for certain is that the lunch will include lots of nice fresh local produce.
2.30pm Arrive Havelock and depart for a winery experience
3.00pm Arrive at Framingham Winery for a tasting of the range of stunning award winning wines. Framingham have build a solid reputation for their amazing range of Rieslings along with Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and the divine reds, Pinot Noir, Merlot and the innovative Montipulcano. There will also be time to enjoy a walk through the underground cellar and the rose filled courtyard.
4.00pm Arrive at the Mudhouse Complex, a great collection wine, food, crafts and more. Enjoy a tasting of Mudhouse and Le Grys wines, the schnapps of Prenzel, view the crafts in Quilters Barn or relax with a coffee at the cafe.
5.30pm Arrive back at your Accommodation. (Alternatively we will have you back at the Airport or ferry terminal in time for check in).

 Enjoy the very best of the Marlborough Sounds with a cruise and mystery picnic. This package has been used a number of times with international tour groups, incentive groups and corporate conference groups. It never fails to produce the "wow" factor.
After a cruise through the Pelorus Sound we will disembark the vessel at the start of a bush track. This is an easy gradient 45 minute bush walk through native beech forest along the foreshore of the Pelorus Sound. During the walk the group will hear the echoing sound of bagpipes coming through the bush. This is a great way to raise the interest level of the group as they walk through the bush wondering where it is coming from. At the end of the track the group will find a delightfully set picnic table with the very best of everything. White table cloths, nice crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Our chef on the day will prepare a devine lunch of fresh local produce, seafoods and salads, all matched to a range of Marlborough wines. This will be a long leisurely lunch in a magical part of  the Marlborough Sounds.
