Marlborough Travel is a family owned tourism company that has operated wine tours in Marlborough and Marlborough Sounds cruises for nearly twenty years. Owner- Operators, Chris and Sue Godsiff, are both born and bred in Marlborough, as were their parents and grandparents before that. This long line of family connection to the region and a total commitment to quality service has put Marlborough Travel at the forefront of tourism in Marlborough.
Marlborough Travel operates a well-established land and water based tour business offering a large range of tours of the Marlborough wine region and the Marlborough Sounds. This range of tour options include Marlborough wine tours and scenic tours of the Marlborough wine region. (Wine tours are available on a private tour basis or you can join a tour). Marlborough Travel also owns and operates a number of large luxury launches for cruises of the Marlborough Sounds and charter boat cruising.
- - a full day tour through the famous Marlborough wine region and then cruise the Marlborough Sounds, all in one day. Departs daily.
- Tours departing Picton and Blenheim daily
- Marlborough Tours departing from the Cruise Ships - Private Shore Excursions from Picton.
- - an afternoon cruise from the Havelock Marina through the inner Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds. Departs Daily from 1 October 2010 to 4 April 2011 . Then for 2011 season its 1 September 2011 - 4 April 2012, cruises everyday during the Rugby World Cup.
- Marlborough Sounds boat charter or charter cruise. Enjoy a half day, full day or multi-day private charter cruise around the stunning Marlborough Sounds. Choose from a scenic cruise, wine and food cruise, lunch or dinner cruise.
- Explore the Marlborough region with your own private touring van and private guide for the day. Marlborough Travel offers a range of private tours for individuals, couples, small and large group sizes. Private tours by touring van, mini-coach or charter coach.
- Explore the Marlborough region in style and comfort with a BMW 7 Series or Mercedes Sedan and private driver. Day tours and multi-day tours available through Marlborough, Nelson, Kaikoura, Canterbury and the West Coast. Our luxury touring options also include Helicopter flights over Marlborough and the Marlborough Sounds along with luxury launch charters for cruising the Marlborough Sounds.
- Group transfers, group tours, cruise ship shore exchursions, events or just a coach charter from point A to point B. The Marlborough Travel fleet includes mini-coaches and full touring coaches for all group sizes.
- For fantastic group itineraries, group wine tours, garden tours, arts and crafts tours, group cruises, incentive ideas, picnics, special functions and events.
- In addition to our tour services Marlborough Travel also offer a comprehensive conference orgainisation service. Our staff will personalise a complete package for any size meeting, management retreat or full corporate conference.
