Marlborough Travel and Grey Power Travel Club
Newsletter for October 2009
Spring greetings to all our members…
We do hope everyone has managed to keep warm over the long cold winter months … it’s so heartening to see Spring has arrived
and
to see the
bare trees shaking off the winter cold and downing
their spring gowns…
a very beautiful time of year and a promise of warmer days ahead
J
It has certainly been a while since we have been in touch with our newsletter and a lot has happened since we sent out our last one …
Of note we have since purchased a wonderfully comfortable 41 seater coach featuring cosy leather seats, a “kneeling facility” for easier access and plenty of leg room along with a DVD player. Also lots of luggage space underneath.
These extra comforts do make all the difference while touring and so we look forward to sharing this with you.
Some of you will be Grey Power Members and will have read in the latest Grey Power newsletter in the Saturday Express (first Saturday of every month) that we have done a joint initiative for group travel. The results of this have been most encouraging and we look forward to a productive working relationship along side Grey Power.
The results of the survey has indicated that there is significant interest in arranging group tours that involve escaping the colder winter temperatures in search of a more sociable warmer climate
in warmer
places such as Australia and the
Pacific Islands.
We are keen to know of members who would like to learn more of these packages planned for next winter…
