Marlborough Travel has a range of charter vessels operating in the Marlborough Sounds.  These vessels service the Pelorus, Kenepuru and Queen Charlotte Sounds.   Our largest launch Odyssea is also available for charter out of the Marlborough Sounds and has operated in the Nelson and Wellington areas.

Charter cruising is a great way to enjoy a private experience in the scenic Marlborough Sounds.   Being a private cruise we can personalise the whole event to your requirements.

MV Odyssea: This well appointed 20 metre catamaran is ideal for large group tours and special functions.  It is available for all of your chartering needs including scenic cruises, our Greenshell Mussel Cruise, wine and food cruises, BBQ's and dinner cruises, weddings, product launches, team building and corporate hosting.  This vessel features a large lounge area with full bar and galley facilities, CD stereo and PA system.  Full 230 volt power is available via a generator.  The extensive back deck is ideal as a viewing platform while touring the Sounds or as a huge fishing area.  Licenced for 95 people this vessel is ideal for your next function.

MV Spirit : This 14 metre catamaran is ideal for group cruises and water based transfers. Based in the Picton Marina this vessel operates throughout the Queen Charlotte Sound.  It is available for private charter each Friday and Saturday and most evenings through the week.  This large catamaran is very stable and being fully enclosed offers a large lounge area for socialising.  The vessel is ideal for groups of 20 to 50 people.
