Join us for an afternoon tour and experience the magic of Marlborough with a visit to Marlborough's world famous wineries and attractions. Sample the wines, the olive oils, and the foods that have put this region on the map as the gourmet province.

This daily scheduled tour is ideal for visitors to the region who would like to "join a tour" to enjoy the best of Marlborough.

Tasting at Herzog Luxury Winery Visit a range of large and boutique wineries to sample a divine selection of fine wines. See why Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is world famous, try the aromatic Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurrztraminer or sample the complexities of our Merlot and Pinot Noir.

Taste Olive oils, Prenzel Schnapps, and the hand made chocolates of Makana.

Daily tour itinerary (All year - Some exclusions apply)

12.30pm collection in Picton from your accommodation or the Picton Waterfront (Collection from water taxis coming in from the lodges and resorts in the Queen Charlotte Sound).

1.00pm collections from central Blenheim accommodation and the Blenheim information centre at the Railway Station.

Head out into the stunning Marlborough wine region for a very enjoyable and informative afternoon of divine wine and food tastings.

5.00pm Drop off back at your accommodation in Blenheim

5.30pm Drop off back in Picton at your accommodation or the waterfront.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions:

This scheduled departure tour departs daily, through out the year with the exclusions of Christmas Day, Easter Friday and Easter Monday. This tour operates on a minimum of 2 people.
The actual wineries visited change through the year depending on winery availability. All wineries are chosen by our experienced team of wine tour guides and where possible we will try to accomodate winery requests from our clients. Some of the wineries we use regularly are Saint Clair, Cloudy Bay, Wither Hills, Hunters, Nobilo, Matua, Te Whare Ra, Montana, Framingham and The Vines Village which has wine tasting along with Prenzel Schnapps and Marlborough Olive oils. We also take in Makana Chocolates for a divine chocolate tasting on each tour.
Group sizes fluctuate depending on the time of year and range from the minimum of 2 people through to our maximum of 18 people. Every day is different and giving an acurate average is difficult but usually 6 to 10 people.
If you are coming into the South Island on the Ferry from Wellington this is a great way to get from the Ferry Terminal in Picton to your accommodation in Blenheim. Its a very enjoyable afternoon transfer.!!
