This well appointed 20 metre catamaran is ideal for group tours and special functions. It is available for all of your chartering needs including scenic cruises, our Greenshell Mussel Cruise, wine and food cruises, BBQ's and dinner cruises, weddings, product launches, team building, conferencing and corporate hosting.
This vessel features lounge areas with full bar and galley facilities, CD stereo and PA system. Full 230 volt power is available via a generator. The extensive back deck is ideal as a viewing platform while cruising the Marlborough Sounds.
Getting on and off the vessel is made easy with the rear boarding platform. At the Havelock Marina it's an easy step from the floating jetty to the vessel, and our staff will be on hand to assist.
The main cabin offers a very large open lounge area. This can be set up for socialising, a nice dinner setting, or set with extra seating for large group transfers.
The upper deck flybridge is set with a nice lounge area and outdoor seating on the flybridge deck. This is a fabulous viewing area offering 360 degree views.

The choices are endless when it comes to cruising the Marlborough Sounds. With over 1500km of coastline in the Marlborough Sounds you can cruise the many bays and coves for weeks without seeing the same place twice.
The vessel Odyssea is based in the Havelock Marina, a small seaport town 30 minutes drive from Blenheim, 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Nelson. The township of Havelock is the Greenshell Mussel capital of the world. There are more mussels processed through this port than anywhere else. Havelock is also the gateway to the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds - two of the main Sounds that make up the Marlborough Sounds.
Your cruise can start in Havelock. Alternatively we can collect your group by coach from Nelson, Blenheim, Picton or arrange travel in from anywhere in New Zealand.
The Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds are our main playground for day cruises, although we will always look at relocating the vessel Odyssea further afield for charter work. We can easily operate out of Picton, Nelson or Wellington. Please contact Marlborough Travel for details of relocations.
This is a fantastic group activity ideal for large touring groups and corporate groups. Being a charter cruise this can depart at a time suitable to your group and the duration can also be personalised to suit. Our suggestion would be a 9.30am or 2.00pm departure for 3 hours cruising the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds.
During the cruise you will get to take in the tranquility and natural beauty of the Marlborough Sounds, your skipper will give you a full commentary on the Sounds and the people who have settled here. You will get to visit a Greenshell Mussel Farm where we will explain the intricacies of growing this delicacy in the Sounds. While at the farm we serve freshly steamed Mussels with a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. A very nice wine and food experience in a beautiful part of Marlborough.
