FAQs

Where and when do I join the tour?

We collect you from Blenheim or Picton townships, Blenheim Airport, Picton Ferry Terminal or the Picton waterfront. We suggest a 10am or 11am collection but we are happy to work in with your timeframe and collection requirements. The tour takes you around the Marlborough wine region, on the outskirts of Blenheim. At the end of the tour we drop you back to your collection point or to a location suitable in Picton or Blenheim.

What’s available during the tour?

As part of the wine tour we will visit a range of Marlborough wineries [S1] from the smaller boutique wineries through to the big iconic producers.   We welcome input into the tour and like to include your favourites. As a guide you will fit in 4 – 5 wineries over a 6 hour tour.   We like to stop at one of the wineries for lunch (Normally at your own cost,  however we can quote to include lunch).

What do I bring along on the tour?

Bring a water bottle, your camera, a sunhat and sunscreen. Outside of summer, it also pays to bring a light windbreaker jacket or jumper, if you feel the cold. There may be occasional opportunities during the tour to stop for essential items, but we encourage you to bring everything you think you may require for the day, including snacks.

Will I get carsick and should I take medication?

No, getting carsick is very unlikely. Our luxury touring vans have excellent visibility and are large and spacious with air-conditioning, and the Marlborough roads are generally smooth and straight.

Do you have group tours?

Yes, if you are travelling with a group and require a group tour, please let us know. We have a range of vans and coaches, and can arrange this wine tour on a date that suits you. We operate a variety of group cruises and tours.
