Marlborough locals can get a taste of the Marlborough Sounds with seven special cruise days from Picton.
Cruise onboard Marlborough Travel's launch Odyssea out to Kaipupu point, see the wildlife conservation work under way there and enjoy a very nice bush walk complete with a chance encounter with some wonderful birdlife. Then head on to the NZ King Salmon Farm at Ruakaka Bay to feed the salmon and learn about the King salmon grown in the Marlborough Sounds.
Cruise Itinerary for 3.5 hour cruise:
Check in at MV Odyssea at Picton Marina (Town wharf #5) 15 minutes prior to cruise departure
Cruise departure out into Queen Charlotte Sound
Visit Kaipupu Point for a guided walk through the Wildlife Sanctuary
Visit the King Salmon Farm in Ruakaka Bay to feed the Salmon
Arrive back into Picton marina
